Looking back to the third year of this blog
The number of posts has fallen to 46 in 2017, as the spring break grew into a rather prolonged summer break. As I suspected almost a year ago, the new position at a new university proved a major disruption of my previous scholarly activity, with new responsabilities and new projects. Anyhow, the break is over, and fortunately I am not alone in writing for this blog. If you enjoy reading posts here, and want to read more, feel free to contact me on how to contribute yourself, or just to give feedback.
This decline in blogging activity has, interestingly, not translated in a decline of visitors; in fact, the number of unique visitors in 2017 had contined to grow to more than 63,000 in total. A lot of this is generated by feed readers (http://intersex.hypotheses.org/feed is by far the most popular site on this blog) and, of course, crawlers.
